Choose the WX for wide, flat web and sheet materials — fabric, paper, film, foil, and conveyor belts — that you measure across their face with contact rollers. The BTX is oriented toward flat drive belts and wide tape. If your material is a continuous web or sheet rather than a discrete belt or tape, the WX is generally the better fit; for borderline cases, share your material width, type, and target tension with a Tensitron specialist.
If you send a meter in and then choose not to proceed with the required service, a $100 Evaluation Fee is assessed, and the Evaluation Fee and return shipping must be paid before the meter ships back. A Storage Fee of $25 applies if a meter remains more than 30 days from the date of estimate to the date approval (a purchase order or payment) is received, plus $10 for each subsequent week, partial or full. A meter is considered abandoned and will be discarded if no communication is received within six months of the customer receiving the estimate.

Published starting prices are $299 for standard digital tension meter service and $329 for standard TR and ACM mechanical tension meter service; request a current quote, as pricing should be confirmed with Tensitron, and additional parts, services, or documents may increase the charge.
